PRO. Fun, beautiful space, even in mid-November! Outdoor shower is exhilarating (there is no indoor shower). Strolling the garden on a chilly Fall morning with a warm mug is a unique delight. They provide robes, slippers, and plenty of blankets/bedding to guard against the chilly concrete. Perfectly positioned for quiet, secluded stay within day-trip range of more populous towns. CON. Proximity to the other two units is closer than I realized, would've liked the feel of a little more privacy (but no actual privacy problems with neighbors). Clean, except for dusting to collect the many cobwebs. The soap dispenser was of an Earth-eco-friendly brand, lemongrass scented, but the actual soap being dispensed smelled and felt like a fakey green apple soap. Kudos for reusing a container, but disappointed in the switcheroo. You could not get any room in a hotel like this, let alone a suite this big, for this price. I'll keep this one on my list.
Very impressive grounds. Love the kitchen with gas 6 burner gas range, dishwasher, etc. Would work great as a romantic getaway. The Elk across the road were worth watching, as they were watching us. Rainbow Brook Falls were close and really nice. The River south of town had salmon in the spawning stage. Food was great at diner in town. Pies, cobblers with ice cream is great. Port Townsend was unique and the Bay view restaurant had good food and a great view. Thank You The Kramers
We loved our stay here! I didn't expect to see such a beautiful garden. The pictures were pretty online, but it was more gorgeous in person. The garden house was extremely cozy and well arranged. We already miss the place. We'll definitely be back!
We immensely enjoyed our stay at Brinnon gardens, the quiet place and beautiful gardens, the great kitchen and the shower outside the building, and also this side of Washington State, which we discovered on several day trips: Olympic National Park, hikes there, Port Angeles, the Dungeness Spit which we would recommend to any tourist. We spent quite a bit of time in Sequim, discovering berry farms where we bought large amounts of raspberries and blueberries. The grocery stores were also excellent. The damage deposit was quickly returned to my credit card.
This apartment is in a beautiful setting. It was clean and quiet. The outdoor shower is the only shower and pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it turned out to be amazing. There isn't much in the way of groceries around there so I recommend a trip to the market before you arrive. The herd of elk that lived near there and the beautiful waterfall within a mile drive were amazing!
