We had a wonderful stay at Brinnon Gardens over Thanksgiving weekend. The house was spacious with plenty of room for three families (with 6 kids) to relax, play and most importantly cook!! The kitchen, breakfast table and dinning room provided us lots of space for meal times. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus for adults and kids. The Thompsons were very accommodating making check-in and check-out a breeze and Connie was very responsive via email and cell phone during planning/booking and during our stay if questions or issues occurred. Although we stayed during late fall, we would love to visit during spring or summer to enjoy the surrounding gardens and the local hiking trails.
We love this place. Came back second time 2 years after. It the best place to stay if you have kids as they can enjoy that beautiful garden and run around. Place has a lot of space and very comfy. The only thing was missing is Wifi. It probably good in a way that it wasn't there so we had lots of time to enjoy time without it but would be nice to have it at least for music streaming purposes and for area research so we can google where to take kids next day. Otherwise, I think I and my family with friends will be coming back next year. Thanks a lot
We really enjoyed all the different trees on the property. The house was great because we could fit everyone at the dinner table (10 adults plus 1 small child) and there was plenty of room for everyone to lounge in the living room. We did a lot of cooking and our only wish was that there were sharper knives with which to chop. The wild blackberries all around were delicious and watching the elk eat apples of the trees every evening when we got back was great too.
We had a great time staying at Brinnon Gardens. Great communication with the owners. We were the only ones staying on the property at the time so it was very peaceful. The house is huge! Nothing extremely fancy but plenty of room for 6 people (I could see 10 people fitting very comfortably). Our only complaints: hot tub didn't heat up past about 90 degrees, and cable kept coming in and out. We didn't mention it to anyone when we were there so it may very well have been fixed if we had spoken up.
This is our second time staying in this beautiful house for our girl's weekend. It is very spacious, with a comfy living room and two rooms with large tables. We crafted and played games in one room, and had snacks and meals in the other. We enjoyed the hot tub, walked the grounds, picked blackberries and saw a herd of elk across the road--babies and all. Easy trip to waterfall hikes, and the trail in the park nearby that goes out onto the Puget Sounds was so peaceful. At night we turned off the lights and went out in the front yard to gaze at the amazing array of stars. Wonderful stay and we will be back!
