We loved our stay at the All Seasons Waterfront Villa on the Hood Canal. It's an absolutely beautiful area, and the house is right on the water with a large yard, steps leading down to the beach, and fantastic views over the canal and the hills beyond. The house is large and very well-appointed; three full bedrooms, two full baths, and enough separation between the master bedroom and the others so people can spread out a bit and have some privacy. Hiking, biking, kayaking, and other adventures await in the surrounding area. Just up the road is Kayak Brinnon, where we rented kayaks and gear to go crabbing, catching ourselves some nice red rock crab for dinner. There's only a few downsides. First, the area is fairly remote, and it's at least a 30-minute drive to the nearest proper grocery store (not including a gas station a mile or so up the road). Come prepared since there's no quick dash to the store to grab something you forgot. Second, the house comes without any cable or satellite TV service, and no real DVD collection to speak of. Bring a laptop (the Internet works fine) and an HDMI cable so you can play your own movies on the TV. Third, the hot tub is great but during our stay the thermostat was not working properly, and was overheating -- we found that leaving the cover off for a few hours would let it cool down.
My group of four rented this house for five nights. It was clean, neat, and everything worked except for the TV which was not connected to cable or to satellite. Cookware was more than adequate. We harvested oysters directly in front of the house and enjoyed the view, the hot tub and the multiple decks. The house would be very comfortable for six adults.
I organized a girls weekend and this was such a great place for it! We were all very happy with house. We made some wonderful meals, had good wine, made a fire and enjoyed the hottub and games that were in the house. The lady at the rental company was very kind and easy to work with.
We reserved the Villa for an annual clam digging get-together. The Villa was clean, delightfully decorated and had more than adequate accommodations for our large family event. The beds are very comfortable. The floor plan is open and spacious and has a great outdoor entertainment area. It is a high bank property so there is a long staircase to the water's edge. The hot tub water was nice, especially after a day of clam digging. It would have been nice to have complimentary coffee and bath sundries. Access in and out of the property is a little challenging.
This is the second time we've stayed here. It's a clean, quiet house with room for eight, and plenty of things for kids to do. Great hot tub and firepit.
