This rental is absolutely amazing. Minutes from Jay Peak, my family and I were able to spend a fantastic week enjoying the beauty of Vermont. After skiing all day, there was still sitting around fires, playing games, hiking the trails, and making trips to Kingdom Brewery and downtown Newport to keep us not only entertained but sunned with this little slice of paradise. The fire pit, the river, and the wood stoves were definitely highlights for us. The floor based heating system was very impressive for the dead of winter. Lisa was very good to work with. Communicating through email she was attentive to my questions leading up to the trip, helping to put my need to over plan everything at ease. I could not have been happier with this rental and fully expect to bring my family back in the future.
Lisa's home is just as described. It is clean, comfortable, and sits on beautiful property. The way it is situated on the property affords privacy as well. Being able to bring our dog; an added bonus! Lisa communicated with us via email and told us all we needed to know about the house. During our stay, we skied (at Jay), snowshoed around the property, near the frozen brook, and on the cross-country ski trails, and had a wonderful dinner at Tastings Food & Spirits in Troy. We also enjoyed just hanging out at the house and basking in the heat of the two wood stoves for which ample wood is supplied. We look forward to staying in Lisa's home sometime during the summer. THANK YOU!
