WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THIS WONDERFUL PROPERTY.
We had a large group - 8 adults, 8 kids and a baby. This house was perfect! 10 minutes from the horse park. Huge with two full kitchens and plenty of room to find a quiet spot even in a large group. Wonderful views from the whole back wall of the house with decks and patios. The kids picked blueberries - moms brought horses and trail rode - nice trails right off the property. The barn has fans in each stall and at either end. The owner and property manager were very nice, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The ring has new footing and is pristine and large. Linens were provided and were luxurious. We would love to stay here again.
We rented this lovely property for three weeks and absolutely loved it. We had a total of 14 guests throughout our three horse show weeks and everyone had ample space and privacy. Our groom loved having a separate cottage from the main house which sits closer to the barn and paddocks. The property is literally 10 minutes from the show grounds and surrounded by lovely vineyards. The barn is functional, clean, and safe but can get a bit hot during the day being that it's all metal, but with the fans on, it's quite nice. The pastures are super and the entire property if fenced with no climb wire so our dogs were also happy to be leash free. We encountered some bumps along our stay, but each thing was resolved quickly and effortlessly. The property manager Christy is extremely nice and addresses issues immediately. We also used her home cleaning services twice a week to keep everything looking neat and tidy. Our overall stay was amazing and we look forward to our next visit in October. *The only thing I would recommend is that an irrigation system be installed for the arena as it gets very dusty and that a better top layer of footing be put in over the concrete screenings. I know the arena wasn't fully complete when we arrived though so I'm sure this will be done in the near future. * Having some jumps at the farm would also be a good added feature. * Having access to water in the pastures would also be a great as the pastures are far from the one water source close to one other paddock and the hoses cannot reach. If you don't bring a golf cart to take water out to the pastures, you may be walking back and forth a lot. A super property which you will never want to leave!!!
Beautiful property with huge house that has been newly redecorated with no expense spared, perfect layout for multiple families, amazing views, of mountains and also overlooks all the newly fenced paddocks and riding ring. Nice brand new 12'x12' stalls in barn...highly recommend!!! Whether you're there for horse stuff or not, there are tons of activities to do in the area -- river rafting, hiking, zip lining, and 15 minutes from Lake Lure. We will definitely be back!
First of all it is very close to Tryon Int Equestrian Center. The Large house has all the amenities required for numerous guests and was recently completely redecorated with out regard to expense so everything is fresh and new. The House sits on a hill commanding spectacular Mountain Views, paddocks etc. it is especially perfect for Equestrian families (we have a 14 yr old Hunter child) but anyone would fall in love with the property. We are looking forward to staying there this summer for the Tryon Equestrian events. I have stayed at other houses in the area and NOTHING compares to it!! PS: There is grape arbor and large blueberry plot adjacent to the house (book when they are ripe). Highlight for me!!!
