Gabrielle is a delightful person and a fantastic host. Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure I had everything I needed. Gabrielle introduced me to her neighbours/friends, which made me feel like

I recently stayed at then cottage for an rose show in tryon. The setting is amazing and the house was wonderful. We are planning another trip to the area so we can stay at the cottage again. Highly recommend a stay at the cottage!

We stayed at the Rockhouse during Tryon International Equestrian Center's Summer Series for 2 weeks. The cottage was clean, charming and rich in history. The property is incredibly beautiful and lends itself to relaxing evenings after long (and hot) days at the horse show or out exploring the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. The cottage is a stone's throw away from TIEC and has easy access to some major roads and highways for day trips. The owners were super responsive, friendly and welcoming. We will most definitely be back!

The Rockhouse is the perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation, or in our case, a fast paced equestrian competition. It is rustic and charming yet has most of the comforts of a modern home. The unique cottage is constructed of a variety of rocks but also large chunks of glass, coral and some more colorful stones. Pictures don't do it justice. The appliances are in excellent condition. The washer/dryer, oven, gas grill, appear new. The shower has great water pressure, beds are comfortable, A/C was very good. The owners are friendly and welcomed me with a quick tutorial and a lovely basket of snacks and bottle of wine. The homes' interior is nothing in comparison to the view and privacy of the vineyard. We plan on returning there again!

This was our 2nd time staying at the Rockhouse Vineyard.....the Owner was very accommodating at coordinating our arrival and the home was in great shape for our stay. We will be back!

The pictures don't do it justice, this place was like something out of a magazine. You are the only house in a vineyard with rolling grass hills, big beautiful trees and a super comfortable house. We watched wild turkeys from the Adirondack chairs drinking coffee on the porch. The only thing you will hear on the porch is birds. It's so relaxing and beautiful. Lee the owner met us at the airport!! There was a gift basket, wine and everything you need in the kitchen. We loved it and highly recommend this pace. Thanks so much for your hospitality Lee!!!
