Gabrielle is a delightful person and a fantastic host. Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure I had everything I needed. Gabrielle introduced me to her neighbours/friends, which made me feel like

Wonderful in every way! Magic lurks in every corner... A perfect space to make your home base in Amsterdam. Great location. Clean. Fun. Cozy. Fully equipped with everything you need. Swans visit at the window. Bells toll in the distance. Lights sparkle in every nook and corner. Art is everywhere. Beds are comfortable. Bath is fun and spacious. It glows. Enjoyed every moment.

Was greeted by the fine manager of the lively houseboat that would be my home for seven days with keys and directions, then left to enjoy and explore the surrounds on my own. The shower has never-ending hot water and the bathtub makes for an unbeatable bubblebath overlooking the canal. Ducks and seagulls will no doubt be at the kitchen window at breakfast time. If you have the same good fortune to stay here during New Year's Eve as I, you will find out what the Dutch do with fireworks! I had an amazing time and recommend staying here if you like eclectic decor.

This was our third stay on the Bohemian is just that spectacular. Anna is a gracious, prompt, and well-informed host. The location is perfect, whether you want to explore on foot or grab a tram. The houseboat itself is beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. If you're looking for a great place to stay, where you only have to go a few steps down to reach your accommodation, this is it!! We will be back.

The Bohemian Houseboat was a perfect choice for our visit to Amsterdam. It was cozy, colorful, and very comfortable. The pictures online captured the quirkiness of the place, but we were pleased with the comfort. There was plenty of space for me and my partner to sleep, hang out, and relax during our stay. I was worried how the shower would work, but it was perfect... plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. The boat has a heater toward the back and a thermostat to help control the temperature in the main area. We were never too hot or too cold! We enjoyed the visits by the ducks and swans as well as waving to passers-by on their boats. The location couldn't have been better! The Jordaan area offers great shopping, bars, and restaurants away from the crowds of Dam Square and the Red Light District. We could hear the chimes of the nearby church bells, but they didn't keep us up at night. We ventured to the busier areas of town and quickly made our way back to Jordaan for the majority of our stay. Anna was very friendly and helpful with great recommendations for lunch and a local bar. We would definitely love to return to Amsterdam and this houseboat.

This was so fun, so cool. I almost hate to let people know about it because I will never stay anywhere else when in Amsterdam. You can walk anywhere from the boat or just relax and watch the world go by. Property manager Anna is very sweet and informative and great communicator. This is as good as it gets!
