About this listing

This country setting is perfect for a get-a-way from the world. Located just 16 miles south of Helena, this home is conveniently situated to enjoy town and country. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a spacious loft area above the garage, a covered back porch and hiking off the back deck you can relax and enjoy what Montana has to offer on this 22 acre property with a gently flowing stream in a private, park-like setting. In any direction you can hike, bike or atv. North of Jefferson City you can dine at Chubby's Restaurant in Clancy (a fun western atmosphere with great food), or travel a little farther into Helena for shopping, dining, cultural, historic and arts opportunities. The Helena Symphony (Helena Symphony under the stars July 18th, 2015 - free concert outside at Carroll College), Community Band Concerts, Helena Stampede and Rodeo, the Farmers Market (Saturdays during the summer and fall), the Brewers Baseball Games and (my personal favorite) Montana Shakespeare in the Park (Helena and Boulder) are all wonderful events to attend. South of Jefferson City you can enjoy the Elkhorn Mountain Ghost Town (10 miles to Boulder), use one of the three very popular health mines in Basin, or enjoy fantastic fishing on the Boulder River. Also, you can take a day trip to Yellowstone National Park, historic Butte or the Grant Kohrs Ranch in Deer Lodge (be sure to visit the Deer Lodge prison while you are there - one great tour), or float/fish the world renowned Missouri or Madison Rivers! No additional cleaning fees - leave our vacation home just as you found it. The base rate includes use of the main house. To have access to the loft area with the crib and the three additional twin beds, you need to have either paid for more than four (4) guests or paid an additional fee for use of the area with four or less guests. Be sure to enter the correct number of guests when making a reservation - if additional guests stay at the property the $10 per person/per night fee will be deducted from your $100 damage deposit. No wedding receptions, graduation parties, reunions or other such gatherings permitted during rental. Please contact for discounted monthly rates or my couples discount.

Gabrielle is a delightful person and a fantastic host. Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure I had everything I needed. Gabrielle introduced me to her neighbours/friends, which made me feel like

My family and I really enjoyed our vacation! We are from Kansas and we were visiting my grandmother who lives in East Helena. We have 9 kids, but only 7 made the trip. The biggest hit was the hammocks! My boys sat in them multiple times per day. The back yard view was amazing! I got up in the morning, drank coffee and listened to the silence.....it was great. I did like that both the couch and love seat in the living room were hide-a-beds. We utilized those at night. The only bummer about the whole thing was that the upstairs didn't have air conditioning. It was too hot up there so our kids didn't stay up there but it was a great loft. Thank you for the opportunity for us to share your home on our vacation. If we come up again or have any friends up that way, we will definitely recommend it!! Thank you!!
